Our Approach to Care

Fully qualified and experienced nursing staff work alongside an excellent and well-trained team of care assistants and housekeepers – all of whom are picked for their warmth and personality as well as their professional skills. The high quality of care results from the fresh and innovative approach taken by Matron and her senior staff.

Broad Oak Manor welcomes residents who wish to make the home their permanent home or who require respite or convalescent care. Whatever your needs as an individual, we will make your stay as comfortable as possible.

We aim to help residents get the best of life out of living by:

  1. An atmosphere of independence and choice in which elderly people can retain or recover confidence in themselves and their abilities
  2. Continuous training of all staff and sound management controls assure we provide the best possible level of care at all times.
  3. Regular assessment and evaluation of a resident’s circumstances and health helps us to deliver individual and appropriate care.

All care plans as designed by a Registered Nurse who liaises with other relevant health professionals to ensure that all care needs are met. Each service user will be involved in their own planning and with their permission relatives or friends may also be involved in this process.
